European Union agrees on a brand new €50 billion support bundle for Ukraine regardless of Hungary’s veto menace

A prime European Union official says the 27 EU nations have sealed a deal on new support for Ukraine simply over an hour right into a summit of the bloc’s leaders and regardless of threats from Hungary to veto the transfer.

“We have a deal,” European Council President Charles Michel stated in a submit on X, previously generally known as Twitter. He wrote that each one “27 leaders agreed on an additional €50 billion ($54 billion) support package for Ukraine within the EU budget.”
