Nepal requests Russia to not recruit its nationals into Army

Nepal has requested Russia to not admit Nepalese nationals into the Russian Army and assist repatriate those that have already joined the nation’s forces to battle the battle in Ukraine. At least 200 Nepalese youths have joined the Russian Army by means of unlawful channels and 12 of them have already misplaced their lives whereas preventing towards Ukraine.

Nepalese Foreign Minister N. P. Saud, throughout his assembly with Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Vershinin Sergey Vasilievich on January 19 on the sidelines of the continued Non-Aligned Summit in Kampala, Uganda, requested Russia “not to recruit Nepalese nationals into the country’s Army and to help repatriate those who have already joined the forces”, according to the private secretariat of Mr. Saud.

Mr. Saud clarified that “Nepal has no policy to send its nationals to foreign Army except those few countries with which it has traditional arrangements. Therefore, I have asked the Russian Minister not to recruit our nationals into its Army,” Mr. Saud was quoted as saying by his private secretariat.

Mr. Saud additionally requested the Russian aspect to “ship again the useless our bodies of these killed within the Russia-Ukraine battle whereas preventing for the Russian Army and to supply due compensation to the household of the victims”.

“The Nepalese Foreign Minister has requested the Russian government to make necessary arrangements to return the dead bodies at the earliest so that the family members of the victims could perform the last rites of the deceased relatives as per their traditional rituals,” the private secretariat quoted Mr. Saud as saying.

The Russian aspect has knowledgeable Mr. Saud that needed preparations will probably be made to supply compensation to the household of the deceased as per the Russian regulation. Mr. Vesilievich, who can also be the chief to the NAM Summit from Russia, has assured Mr. Saud that initiatives will probably be taken to handle the issues raised by Nepal.

“During the meeting, the two leaders also discussed various aspects of bilateral relations between Nepal and Russia,” in line with Mr. Saud’s secretariat. Mr. Saud on the event talked about the lengthy historic relations current between Nepal and Russia.

The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister underscored the necessity for taking ahead the bilateral relations, stressing that the relations between two nations had been constructed on a powerful basis.
